W-Doubleyou is a partnership between several companies. W itself is the administrative and coordinative arm of the organization, while the major manufacturing partners are PT Maxim Indowood and PT Indofrance Abadi. Other smaller partners are also involved in manufacturing our products.
W-DOubleyou collections in Teak, mahogany and oak, are manufactured in one of the best equipped, and most technologically advanced factories in Central Java. We have our own sawmills and computer controlled ovens right up to automated docking saws and CNC machining centers. A multitude of other advanced equipment and highly professional finishing techniques round out a very capable factory. The speed of production and the level of quality are second to none in the Indonesian furniture industry.

Teak is a great natural material for kitchen accessories, and these natural edged bowls are a great example of that. They are hand shaped from one solid piece of Teak, and the natural edge of the wood is left untouched so it forms the lip of the bowl. A thorough fine sanding smooths the inside and the outside, and two coats of food grade mineral oil protect the surfaces. The natural colour variations between the sapwood and the heartwood provide nice contrast in the piece.
